Sacred Spaces: Historic Houses of Worship in the City of Angels
Presented by the Skirball Cultural Center
Thirty color photographs by Los Angeles architectural photographer Robert Berger of historic religious structures built in the Los Angeles area between 1850 and 1952, including some along the Wilshire corridor. The exhibit documents the diverse ethnicities, religions, changing demographics, and adaptive reuse of these structures and illustrates a wide range of architectural styles, craftsmanship, and neighborhoods.
